“We have always been community-minded,” says
McHale’s
Hospitality Group President Chuck McHale. “What better way to thank
the community for 40 great years than to select a worthy non-profit for
a fundraising package so that they can continue to make a difference
in our community. It is a $6,000 event that could generate ten fold in
revenue for the winning organization.”
Past winners selected by the the staff have included St. Joseph’s Orphanage, New Hope Center and New Perceptions.
Applying organizations must be tax-exempt under Section 501 (c) (3)
of the Internal Revenue Service Code, located and serve individuals in
the Northern Kentucky/ Greater Cincinnati area, and make a significant
impact in the community.
“We’re looking for fiscally sound non-profits with strong
governing boards that know what they want to do and are really trying
to make an impact on the lives of people in our community,” McHale
says.
Applications are available
on-line and are due by
December 14, 2007. The winner will be selected by a panel of McHale’s
Hospitality Group employees by January 31, 2008.
The $6,000 winning package includes use of one of
three McHale’s
Hospitality Group’s banquet
rooms for up to four hours, all set
up and post-event cleaning of the room, professional banquet staff, rolling
hors d’oeuvres buffet, beverage service and open bar for beer and
wine for up to 300 guests. The event would need to take place on any
Friday or select Saturday night before Easter 2009, giving the winning
organization plenty of time to plan their community fundraiser.
McHale’s, the only “Emerging 30” six-time designee,
owns The Marquise in Wilder, The
Gardens of Park Hills, The
Point Pavilion in Covington and McHale’s Catering. It is also one of three preferred
