Minimum
Spending Requirements
All events are subject to Minimum Spending Requirements. Minimum Spending Requirements
vary depending on the location, date and time of the event. Minimum Spending
Requirements can be met with food, beverage and Ala Carte items. Minimum Spending
Requirements cannot be met with equipment rentals, service charges or taxes.
Deposits
and Cancellations
All events are subject to an advance deposit. For all Saturday
evening events, a 2nd payment is required six months prior
to the event date. The deposit amount and 2nd payment amount
due will be stated in your contract. All deposits are non-refundable.
Service
Charge
All charges are subject to a 20% service charge.
Room Rental
and Charges
A room rental is considered tentative until a deposit (if required)
is received and a contract is signed. Room rentals are subject
to a charge if minimum spending requirements are not met.
Guaranteed
Numbers, Menu Selections and Final Arrangements
Menu selections and final arrangements must be completed two
weeks prior to all social events and five business days prior
to all corporate events. Event time will commence when the
guests begin to arrive. A guaranteed number of guests is required
eight days prior to all social events and five business days
prior to all corporate events. All social events are subject
to payment in full at this time.
McHale’s Hospitality Group
will be prepared to handle an additional 5% over the guaranteed
number of guests given with a maximum of 10 guests. If the
number of guests exceeds this number, the host will be charged
150% for the additional guests and the menu will not be guaranteed
for these guests.
Credit and Billing
Payment in full is due at the conclusion of all corporate events.
In some cases pre-payment of estimated charges is required.
Direct Billing is available.
Tax Exempt
Status
All charges are subject to a 6% sales tax. If your group is
tax exempt, a copy of your State Sales Tax Exempt Certificate
must be provided to McHale’s Hospitality Group.
Security
McHale’s Hospitality Group is not
responsible for damaged, lost or stolen items left in the
hall prior to, during or following an event.
Equipment
Rental
A wide selection of audio visual equipment is available on
a rental basis. All audio visual equipment is provided by Prestige
A/V. As a courtesy, audio visual equipment will be billed through
McHale’s Hospitality Group. Prestige A/V prices are subject
to change. Please ask the Event Coordinator for more information.
Set-up and
Break-down
Please have bands, disc jockeys, florist, bakeries, etc. call
McHale’s Hospitality Group to discuss set-up and break-down
times.
Signage
and Decorations
If two events are scheduled on the night of your event, McHale’s
Hospitality Group will provide a sign to denote which room
your event is occurring in. In accordance with the Kentucky
fire code, no open flames are allowed however enclosed candles
are permitted. McHale’s Hospitality Group does not allow
signage or decorations that will leave permanent damage to
the rooms. An additional fee may be charged in the event of
permanent damage to the rooms.
Liquor Policies
Kentucky State Law forbids guests under 21 years of age to
consume alcoholic beverages. Guests who are known or thought
to be intoxicated will not be served alcoholic beverages.
Kentucky State Law forbids alcoholic beverages to be brought
onto the premises.
Smoking Policy
All McHale’s Hospitality Group facilities are non-smoking
facilities. Smoking is permitted in the outside patio areas.
